The next President of the United States faces a severe shortage of qualified personnel across all Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines.  Who will take ownership of these problems? Who will help resolve this crisis?

BDPA, formerly known as the Black Data Processing Associates, has chosen "Technology" as its swim-lane to address STEM crises in our communities.

But don't just take our word for "IT", see what other leading publications and supporting organizations have to say...

...then, join us during our celebratory professional event on the 12th!  Pre-Register or RSVP here  by close of business Friday, November 7th, 2008.

BDPA-DC hosted this year's Regional High School Computer Competition (HSCC) at Bowie State University. We will honor this year's Regional HSCC Champions and IT Showcase Participants. The National Naval Officers Association  (NNOA) whose members are active duty, reserve, retired, and civilian personnel supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) in northern Virginia, and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in southern Maryland are an integral part of local BDPA chapters' network of networks. During our reception on November 12th, join BDPA-DC and rediscover why the Quantico Chapter of NNOA, NNOA's 2008 Chapter of the Year, is a staunch supporter of STEM projects (such as robotics, high-performance computing, modeling & simulation), HBCU/MI participation, and BDPA's 2008 Regional HSCC.

BDPA-DC proudly salutes our Veterans and cordially wishes
a Happy 233rd Birthday to our nation's Sailors and Marines!
