Protégé Criteria
- Pursuit of an executive leadership position in IT within a business entity or IT enterprise
- Successful track record as a business leader having received the minimum level of first line manager
- Recommendation by an ITSMF member, ITSMF Corporate Partner or Protégé Channel organization
- Sponsorship by an executive within protégé’s professional chain of command
- Discussion of intent with immediate management
- Identification by sponsor and management as having high potential (the candidate could anticipate promotion at least two levels above his or her present position)
- Commitment to completing program components
