BDPA welcomes new sponsors and  charitable contributions from corporate and individual stakeholders.  The Washington, D.C. BDPA Chapter is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. This year, BDPA-DC celebrates 30 years of community service bridging the "Digital Divide" in the District of Columbia and neighboring communities.

Regional Corporate Sponsors/Supporters (July 2008 | June 2009)

BDPA-DC continues to receive invaluable support from the following organizations through annual corporate cash donations, newsletter and web-banner advertising, volunteer and outreach services, corporate advisory and diversity services, in-kind contributions, and career opportunities to include scholarships and internships for student members.

In 2008, Washington, D.C. chapter goals include fielding student teams to Supercomputing 2008 (SC08) in Austin, TX; co-hosting BDPA's 2008 Northeast Regional HSCC and Youth IT Showcase with a local HBCU/MSI; and capturing the 2008 National HSCC title in Atlanta, GA. The Chapter also seeks to provide budget relief in the form of scholarships, intern stipends, and grants-in-aid to BDPA-DC members earning and maintaining [IT] industry certifications (e.g. PMP, CCIE, MCSE, IT Master, and CompTIA Certifications.)
