Northern Delaware BDPA Chapter Celebrates First Anniversary Today

Wilmington, DE - Northern Delaware Chapter, chartered in 2007,  is a non-profit 501(c) (3) (pending) organization comprised of professionals working in the IT industry or anyone having an interest in information technology. BDPA - NDC is a member of a National organization that has over 50 Chapters nationwide. Their membership is diverse includes IT managers, executives, consultants, entrepreneurs, project managers, developers, network engineers, programmers, web developers, instructors, and students. On Saturday, November 15, 2008 BDPA-NDC will host a VIP Reception, its first Annual Scholarship Awards Banquet, and an Educational Showcase. Night Launch for Endeavour!  | Lockheed Martin Hosted BDPA Students

Crystal City, VA
--BDPA student members, parents and friends were invited to Lockheed Martin Corporation's Center For Space Exploration to view NASA's final space shuttle night mission, STS-126, featuring space shuttle Endeavour. NASA said last Friday (November 7th) it awarded Lockheed Martin Corporation a $667.3 million contract to provide support for systems used in its new generation of rockets designed for human spaceflight. Under terms of published agreements, Lockheed Martin will help NASA transition from current Space Shuttle operations to NASA's new Constellation Program.
