As an industry professional, your membership provides unique access to established networks of IT and CS-STEM professionals and executives in Public, Private, and Academic sectors of your industry (such as Healthcare, Transportation, Energy, Finance, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Aerospace or Defense.) BDPA-DC HSCC Team Captains, Francisco Nunez and TurKenya Herring were among NBDPA's Oracle Scholarship finalists this year. BDPA student members and local HSCC teams from across America will meet during next year's annual National BDPA Technology Conference, Career Fair, and National HSCC in Chicago, IL from August 3 through August 6, 2011.

Protege Criteria
  • Pursuit of an executive leadership position in IT within a business entity or IT enterprise
  • Successful track record as a business leader having received the minimum level of first line manager
  • Recommendation by an ITSMF member, ITSMF Corporate Partner or Protégé Channel organization
  • Sponsorship by an executive within protégé’s professional chain of command
  • Discussion of intent with immediate management
  • Identification by sponsor and management as having high potential (the candidate could anticipate promotion at least two levels above his or her present position)
  • Commitment to completing program component
